The first workshop was organised with the KUMULUS association, which gathers experts from education, social work, pedagogy, psychology, and other related disciplines. The workshop was attended by students and teachers from the Mlinarska Nursing School, the School of Art, Design, Graphics and Clothing in Zabok, the Hotel and Tourism School in Zagreb, the Petar Zrinski Elementary School in Zagreb, and the president of the City District Council August Šenoa, who hosted us in their premises. On the same day, a workshop was held for the teachers of the Elementary School Rapska in Zagreb with the participation of several retired teachers.

On May 29, 2024, the project team, in cooperation with Dolac Elementary School, held a workshop in Rijeka for teachers from Rijeka’s elementary schools, most of whom are involved in implementing the extracurricular activity “Civic Education.”

A few days later, on June 3, the workshop was held as part of the annual conference of the GOOD initiative in Zagreb. The project’s results were presented to teachers, professors, principals, representatives of civil society organisations, the City of Zagreb, and journalists at this workshop. During the event, several questions were raised about developing civic competences and education for democracy and human rights, stimulating a lively discussion.

The fifth workshop was held for teachers of Međimurje County who implement civic education. The workshop, held in cooperation with Josip Slavenski Čakovec Grammar School, was attended by teachers from Varaždin County and a judge of the Commercial Court in Varaždin.

A few days after the final project conference was held in Rijeka, on October 9, a virtual workshop was held as part of the “GOOD školica” programme. Over 40 teachers from all over Croatia participated on the Zoom platform. The workshop stimulated numerous discussions, and several participants expressed their desire to present the project to students. In total, more than 110 participants from different age groups took part in the six workshops held, with the aim of presenting the project and piloting the developed activities. They overwhelmingly spoke positively about the results of the project, which should make you feel proud and reassured about the project’s success, and expressed interest in participating in the future.

Workshop participants positively evaluated the project results and expressed interest in further activities.
