In the previous modules, you were able to understand how laws are made, the purpose of the law, and the role it plays in society.

But do you know the advantages of knowing the law?

In this final module, we’ll explore some more basic legal concepts that will empower you as a student, as well as age-appropriate legal resources that will help you explore the world of law further. In addition, your social and civil responsibility has a huge bearing on the community you live in, and the school you attend – what is your role in democracy? What are the responsibilities and civil duties of young citizens like you?

We’ll also explore some of the social issues you’ve certainly come across or will come across, and some trivia about them. What matters? Promoting diversity, inclusion, and respectful behaviour in your communities!

Finally, at the end of this module, you’ll be able to understand the impact of legal literacy on your personal life, both in terms of skills and knowledge, get to know some professional careers related to the law, and also realize that every day (even if you don’t notice it) you have already done a lot of contracts!
